Lisa Lowe Receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship; Dr. Khanal Honored with OVPRS Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research & Creative Endeavors

Congratulations to Lisa Lowe, who has recently been awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Lisa was an intern in our lab as a UHM-MARC student from 2022 to 2023. She intends to pursue her graduate studies at UCLA.

Congratulations also to Dr. Khanal, who has been honored with the OVPRS Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Research & Creative Work. Since 2008, Dr. Khanal has guided over 30 undergraduate students, half of whom were funded through UHM-UROP.
