Dr. Khanal along with his lab members attended Nanobubble 2024 Conference at Kyoto University

Dr. Khanal was invited as a distinguished invited speaker at the Nanobubble 2024 Conference. Held at Kyoto University in Uji, Japan, from October 9-12, this prestigious event brought together researchers, industry leaders, innovators and collaborators from around the world to discuss advancements and applications in nanobubble technology.

Among lab members, senior researcher, Dr. Surendra KC and three graduate students—Ty Shitanaka, Kyle Rafael Marcelino and Shreeja Lopchan Lama also attended the conference. This esteemed event provided an invaluable platform for them to share their pioneering work and interact with international experts in the field. In addition, the graduate students had the opportunity to present their research on nanobubble technology, showcasing the latest developments and ongoing works from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa's Environment and Bioenergy Research Group. Their presentations covered a range of innovative applications, including the use of nanobubbles in aquaponics and microalgae.
